Beyoncé’s Surprise Album Sells over 400,000 Copies in 24 Hours
That's why they call her Queen B!
After surprising the world with a brand new album, and then crashing iTunes as fans rushed to buy the album, it has been confirmed that Beyonce's self-titled album sold over 430,000 units in its first 24 hours of release.
According to Billboard, the 14-track "visual" album available only on iTunes is predicted to sell more than 600,000 copies before Tuesday. If the 600,000 mark is met, Beyoncé will notch her best debut week and best sales-week of her career.
Beyonce confirmed that the first two singles off the album are Blow and Drunk In Love (which features her beau Jay Z). Check out the black and white video for Drunk In Love HERE:
